Brand List:

Christian Audigier -

At age 19, Christian Audigier was called the “king of jeans” by Sportswear International magazine for his creative design work, elaborate parties, and his unprecedented denim museum in Paris, which paid homage to some of his favorite stars including Elvis Presley and Steve McQueen. He worked with Levi’s, Fiorucci, Diesel, Bisou Bisou, American Eagle Outfitters, Naf Naf, Kookai, Liberto, Lee, and most recently Von Dutch. It has been an American rock-and-roll journey for this brand building powerhouse and now at age 45, Audigier is known the world over as an undeniable fashion designer, lifestyle brand visionaire, and celebrity.

In January 2005, Audigier rose like a phoenix from the ashes when he decided to publicly announce that he had parted ways with Von Dutch on national TV in France, only to promote the launch of his newest clothing line—Ed Hardy. Inspired by the youth of America, vintage-inspired fashion, Hollywood stardom, and motorcycle and tattoo culture, it is no surprise that Audigier was motivated by the artwork of Ed Hardy, the “godfather of tattoo”, then purchased the rights to his artwork in order to bring tattoo culture into the world of fashion.

Since December 2004, Audigier has already brought legendary tattoo genius Ed Hardy to new heights. The cleverly designed t-shirts, denim and accessories reflect Audigier’s own fast-paced lifestyle and passion for color. To date, Audigier has signed the Ed Hardy motorcycle manufacturing deal, produced and distributed the collectible Ed Hardy energy drink, launched a brand new retail store on Melrose, obtained full international distribution of the Ed Hardy lifestyle brand, and generated over $5M in sales to date. Needless to say, Audigier will launch more than four new Ed Hardy lifestyle product categories in the coming year, including housewares.

A rebel with a cause, Audigier is setting out to create yet another global sensation. By incorporating vintage-inspired contemporary styles with tattoo-cultural themes, Audigier will undoubtedly reach the masses once again. What is his trick? Keeping the world on its toes and taking his work to extremes.

Creative Recreation -

Creative Recreation was officially launched in Orange Country, California in the Fall of 2002. The three founders of Creative Recreation noticed a huge void in the footwear market. Everyone was offering either dress shoes to be worn with a suit or athletic-inspired sneakers that were not acceptable at many of the functions for their lifestyle. No one was offering footwear to young professionals with style.

They soon discovered being successful in this generation did not require wearing a suit and tie. This generation is in more control of their destiny and their careers, and has become known for its entrepreneurial drive. Along with this control came the freedom of fashion in the workplace and in other social settings.

Working with these realizations, the three founders set out to design shoes that they wanted to wear. By sampling the best aspects from other footwear categories, they have incorporated the comfort of an athletic sneaker combined with the materialization of a dress shoe to create the ultimate crossbreed.

Creative Recreation: Characterized by originality and imagination, a refreshment of one’s mind or body through activity that amuses and stimulates play.

Rockmith Tokyo -

The Rocksmith family roots go back to a DJ crew in Tokyo that loves early hip hop from the late 80's/early 90's when it was at it's best. With their own unique flavor, they've created a streetwear brand that blends the best of Tokyo and New York nightlife.

Ed Hardy -

To understand Ed Hardy here is some background info about the man, the legend.

Don Hardy

With 40 years of tattooing and legendary status among the tattoo community, Don Ed Hardy is known as "the godfather of modern tattoo", for his sophistication, depth and sense of experimentation. California native Don Ed Hardy is recognized around the world for his technical brilliance and mesmerizing imagery. Don Ed Hardy pulls from life experience to meld American, Japanese, Cholo, tattoo, surf and hotrod iconography. This broad spectrum of taste and experience, coupled with an ongoing investigation of various art histories and a mastery of technique, give his work a unique range and depth.

Don Ed Hardy is a painter, printmaker and tattoo artist. Fascinated by tattoos since childhood, Hardy has become a master of his craft while continuing his work in the more traditional mediums of painting and drawing.

In 2000, he completed a 500 foot long scroll painting of 2000 dragons in honor of the turn of the millennium and the Dragon year. The scroll has been exhibited at Track 16 Gallery, Santa Monica, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver, the Cuenca Bienal in Ecuador and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco.

Don Ed Hardy curated the exhibition, "Pierced Hearts and True Love", which was shown at The Drawing Center in New York in September 1995 and traveled to several other museums. His work is represented in the collections of The Honolulu Academy of Art, The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu, The San Francisco Fine Arts Museum Achenbach Collection, and the University of Colorado Fine Art Galleries.

Blac Label -

By combining a fascination of men's couture with an everyday sensibility, we created Blac Label Premium.

Conceived in 2002 during the saturation of novelty t-shirts with simple screens and catchy sayings, Blac Label Premium has evolved with innovative designs, original concepts, and stylish trends. The increased sophistication of the male shopper and his desire for premium denim produced a need for tops that reflected the same complexity and growth that had ushered in the denim renaissance. We set out to fill that void with designs that were clever, intense, resilient and attractive.

Blac Label Premium is steadily developing from a t-shirt company into a true lifestyle brand. While elaborate t-shirts remain the foundation of the company and its success, we design, market, and distribute full collections of men's and women's apparel throughout the United States. These collections will soon include accessories and boys’ apparel.

We pioneered Blac Label Premium to be a leader in the fashion industry. By bringing quality fabrics and applications together, we are constantly enhancing the attributes of our products while searching for uncompromised characteristics and veracity consistent with the brand’s intentions. The essence of the brand is defined by great attention to detail and a youthful obsession for the right cut and fit. With a touch of roughness, the all-American look of Blac Label Premium has always been original.

575 Denim -

Denim guru, Frank Mechaly, redefines the idea of couture “distressed” with the introduction of his most recent creation, 575 Denim, a vintage inspired denim line poised to adorn the bodies of jean enthusiasts, fashionistas, rockers and style mavens from LA to New York to Paris and beyond. Born in Marseille and raised in St.Tropez, native Frenchman, Frank Mechaly, is the founder and designer of 575 DENIM, one of the hottest jean companies in Los Angeles. Mechaly’s “jeanology” stretches back to the age of 15, where he worked as a salesman in a vintage jean store in Marseille. His love for denim was obvious; as he was the first person to organize auctions for vintage jeans in France, and went on to own two vintage stores of his own. Out of his passion came his first denim company in the 90’s, known as Texola, which he then sold and started another denim line, Culture Couture, which he also sold in 2000. Mechaly knew his calling, and followed that all the way to the U.S., founding Sacred Blue, a division of Blue Cult. This gritty and raw line brought him closer to his vintage roots. After two years as the creative force behind one of the most sought after and visible sub brands in the world, Mechaly partnered with southern California native, Shaun Hurley, an executive member of the Sacred Blue sales team, whose talent and vision helped elevate the brand to its current global status. Hurley was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. He worked his way up through the ranks of the fashion industry as a buyer for Abercrombie & Fitch, and went on to fit model for Levi’s, before landing his sales position with Sacred Blue. Mechaly and Hurley both shared the “beach community” attitude towards life, and decided that’s what the denim world was missing. The partnership has fostered the birth of 575, an artful fusion of classic and cutting edge. These visionary men have created “The Denim Revolution”! The 575 Denim “home”, is a forty thousand square foot, free standing building in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The facility warehouses one of the finest, most state of the art production facilities that the denim industry has ever seen. With over 50 sewers, grinding, sanding, tacking and washing, every pair of 575 jeans in manufactured in house, using the finest Italian and Japanese fabrics, to ensure the quality of each jean. 575 Denim is a unique California jean for men and women alike, who share the same laid back Los Angeles lifestyle. The washes vary from “The Beverly Hills”, to “The Farmer”; to “The Frank”... need we say more?
